RA Selection Day 6 by Matt McGann '00

Today I got in early, giving me a chance to read my copy of the New York Times; also, Ben and I had a nice conversation about the Clay Mathematics Institute’s Millennium Prize Problems. A stimulating morning.

We continue working on selecting the class. Today I worked with Marivel and Amrys. The formal domestic selection phase will wrap up in the next two days, followed by several weeks of solidifying the class, selecting the international class, and putting together decision letters. This all takes quite a long time, but I assure you, it is better not to rush such important matters.

Right now, I’m listening to the Three Tenors, blogging (obviously), and getting ready to head off to my usual Tuesday night trivia contest. Wish me luck. In tomorrow’s entry, I’ll post tonight’s final question ;)
