My name is Susan Sullivan and I am the Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid Application and Awarding. I came to MIT in July of 2011 after working in financial aid at a number of Boston-area colleges and student lending for over 20 years. I am thrilled to be working in Cambridge – there is so much to do in and around this campus!

I have a B.S. in Business Administration from Salem State University and an M.Ed. from Suffolk University in Higher Education Administration. I am currently enrolled in the doctorate program in Higher Education Administration at Northeastern University. When I am not working on my dissertation, I enjoy a good book, spending time with my family and recently started piano lessons.

As both a student and an administrator, I realize the financial aid process can be overwhelming. The staff of Student Financial Services is committed to helping you throughout your MIT experience.
