Applications Checklist
Welcome to the MIT Admissions Homepage! Here you can explore a great wealth of information about our Admissions process. We particularly recommend our blogs, where you can read honest, earnest, and uncensored accounts of what student life is like at MIT.
The following list is a very brief overview of the freshman application process (click here for transfer admissions or here for graduate admissions). The dates differ depending on whether you are applying for early action (EA) or during regular action (RA). You can learn more about each step (and about MIT in general) by clicking through the links at the top of this page. Print this page, tape it to your door, cross it out as you go along - whatever helps you remember what to do and when to do it! And thanks for your interest in MIT.
