Can I apply if I am undocumented?

All applicants are requested to complete Part 1 with their current citizen status.

In the MIT admissions process, you’re considered an international applicant if you’re not a United States citizen or United States permanent resident (green card holder). Applicants awaiting green cards are considered to have non-U.S. citizen/non-U.S. permanent resident status. Undocumented applicants should list their country of citizenship when applying.
