despite everything, it's still you.

after two long years away from the parallels, i finally walked the same hallways I did as a frosh. Some cultures stayed the same, some changed. It’s different from the place I left in freshman year, but I still like it. All the hair dying and grillz are back, along with the culture. the building is new and finally has an elevator, so it was nicer to move in than my first time here, especially because tetazoo easily has double the amount of stuff any other hall has. When the courtyard lawn finally opened, we all went out that midnight to touch grass before we got too hosed later in the semester to go outside and experience nature. We also had FREDFEST there again, where was gave all our cruft (alumni) tours of the post-renovated floors and got to hear our friends perform live music. EC has 10 halls, 5 on the west parallel and 5 on the east. Here's my poorly drawn diagram of how each hall is approximately laid out. things are not to scale. It's one long hallway, which is nice, because if someone is doing something cool on the other side of hall, you can see and go join them. Here's a sneak peek into some of the halls. 1E has a big shiny LED dance floor that has been broken and rebuilt about 4 times over the past several decades. 2E (Beast) has a giant snorlax plushie and named bathrooms like moomoo meadows and glubglub fish room. They also have a constant abundance of baked goods.I am obviously biased towards my one true love, Tetazoo, so I drew both our lounges. Lots of frosh hang out in walounge and once barricaded it for 3 hours expecting a frosh shower night that was never going to happen that night. Many large events happen in glounge and in the kitchen. People here like fire, caving, building stuff, ropes, lockpicking, and many other eccentric hobbies that i have picked up since foming here. Tetazoo is loud and very high energy. We're also a whole bunch of hoarders if this was not obvious from the pictures already.

 

I told myself that I wouldn’t make a part two but this is taking so ridiculously long that I think I have no choice. Hopefully it will not be another two years until part 2 comes out :p I’m drawing all the other halls I swear
