Biography
Hi! I’m Ellie, class of 2028 :D
I hail from Arkansas, land of Walmart and the trigonometric inverse of Kansas, but at MIT, I live in Simmons, where I have an aggressively curvy wall and only 18 windows. I’m currently majoring in indecision, but if that doesn’t work out, I’m also interested in courses 6, 18 and 8.
Now onto the actually important stuff. When I’m not counting my windows, I love solving puzzle hunts with my friends and folding modular origami. I like spinning around and around and around in my room (wheeeeeeeee!) and singing along to musicals. I draw silly birds on every blackboard I can, have MSPaint Classic pinned to my taskbar for easy access, and even sometimes make more “serious” art. I have a Pavlovian reaction to hearing airplanes--I look up immediately. I look up to admire the clouds, too, and the 5 +/- 3 stars that exist in the Boston sky, and a couple of days ago I watched a flock of birds sitting on a fence for five minutes.
I’m so excited for my life here at MIT. I can’t wait to explore campus and Boston, try things I’ve never heard of, and create and learn as much as I can. And I’m so happy to have the opportunity to share my stories with you all <3
