an orange tour by Kanokwan T. '25

🍊🍊🍊

Last year, I hosted a pre-CPW livestream01 fyi this was streamed through a website on the Google Chrome app on my iPhone so pls forgive the lag and low video quality showing the Class of 2027 orange things around campus. Red was too abundant. Grey wasn’t that compelling. I went down the list, and orange felt just right: rare enough to be interesting, common enough to take us all around MIT.

To inform our orange agenda, I polled my dorm for orange recommendations—results here. Ever since this tour, I’m now a little more delighted when I find orange around me. Isolated color is a fun lens in which to view the world. I hope you find some joy in it, too.

P.S. For context, I didn’t film this livestream with the intention of ever posting it later on (i.e. publishing this blog). Also, sorry about the East Campus murals section being soooooooo long. It’s easy to lose track of time with pretty murals. I promise I end up walking to many other places (16, precisely). Feel free to skip around the video as you please.
