liberating the shoulder one free t-shirt at a time

Dear blog readers,  I have something to confess.

I, Veronica P, am an addict.

No matter how hard I try to fight it, I get this uncontrollable urge. Every single time I get a free t shirt, I can’t help myself. It’s an itch that must be scratched. It’s all consuming.

I must make it off-the-shoulder.

 

My roommate (hi Layla) taught me this trick one fateful day my freshman year, and every free shirt that has come my way since then has been subjected to this treatment. I tell myself that not every t shirt needs to be altered. I tell myself that it’s time to mature. But no. It’s gotten to the point where friends come up to me and ask me to “veronica-fy” their shirts. Which is insane because this idea can’t even remotely be attributed to me. If anything, it’s just a testament to how often I get too lazy to pick out a real outfit and just default to one of these shirts.

Anyways, as I was unpacking my clothes for this semester I happened to stumble upon two fresh new victims. So, I figured I’d give a mini tutorial for any interested at home.
