This week, as classes began to die down, I told a friend: “the only thing I gainedthis year was academic hardship.” Sophomore year tends to be the year when things ‘get real’, at least as a Mech-e, and I found myself working harder than I ever have to keep up.
But there’s much more to your second year than the “sophomore slump”, and certainly much more that I’ve gotten out of these past two semesters. I don’t really feel like rambling on about what I’ve learned (nor do I think I’ve narrowed it down quite yet). What I do feel like doing, though, is sharing few of the experiences/possessions i’m happy to have gathered :)
