Please note:

The MIT Welcome Center and Admissions Office will be closed on Monday, February 16th in observance of Presidents Day.

When people think of MIT, they think of computers, robots, and internet—CSAIL is all of those things.

The Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) is the largest research laboratory at MIT and one of the world’s most important centers of information technology research. Tim Berners-Lee, credited with inventing the World Wide Web, is a Professor Emeritus at CSAIL.
