MIT doesn’t have any age requirements and doesn’t require high school completion to apply. Each year we receive a small number of applications from younger students who have outgrown their high school curriculum and feel ready for university study.
Although we don’t have any required high school classes, a strong academic foundation in high school both improves your odds of getting into MIT and will help you make the most of the Institute when you’re here. For some more information, check out What to do in high school.
