May I include supplementary materials with my application?

Our admissions process is designed to be completed online. Note that all materials that are not already electronic are scanned and uploaded; we cannot process non-scannable materials such as CDs, DVDs, books, slides, certificate binders, or newspaper clippings.

If there are other pieces of scannable information that you feel would add depth to your application, you must download and print an MIT Supplemental Document Cover Sheet from your MyMIT account and attach it to any non-required document you submit.

For many supplemental documents, you can most easily fax them to 617-687-9184, which will help us digitize and upload them most quickly.
