What kind of student support services are available?

Being a student at MIT can sometimes feel like drinking from a fire hose and Student Support Services (S3) is available to help you manage the water pressure. They are a friendly and easily accessible hub of support for MIT students. Whether you’re struggling with a pset because of something going on in your life, you feel too ill to take an exam, you’re considering taking time away from the Institute, or you just don’t know who to talk to, S3 can help.

The S3 mission is to promote the academic success and the holistic experience of students, especially undergraduates. S3 reinforces the core values of MIT by providing support in an accessible and respectful environment.

Disability and Access Services staff are integrated with other resources including Student Support Services, to provide comprehensive academic and personal support to students.
