“But wait, what even is the 2.009 presentation?” Glad you asked! 2.009 – “Produce Engineering Process” is MIT’s Senior Year capstone course for Mechanical Engineering. Seniors spend the semester designing a real product that gets presented during this presentation. And many go on to become real products, like the Avive AED Defibrillator, which started as a 2.009 project and now is spreading to campuses across the nation!
