[Announcement] The MIT Bloggers are hosting an AMA! by Jenny B. '25

Ask us anything this Friday and Saturday!

Days until Blogger AMA:

MIT Blogger AMA Link: Coming soon!

The MIT Bloggers are hosting a 2-day AMA (“Ask Me Anything”)01 If you don't know what an AMA is, it's basically a Q&A session with a person or group of people based on a specific topic. It has its roots from the r/IAmA subreddit. on April 18 (9 AM EST) to April 19 (11:59 PM EST)!

Here’s what’s gonna happen:

  1. On April 18 at 9 AM, I’m going to make a post (on the MIT Blogs) called “ASK US (the MIT Bloggers) ANYTHING!”
  2. On that post (not this one!), you can go down in the comments section and ask us your burning questions! You can also upvote other people’s questions if you really want to see them answered.
    1. Seriously, you can ask us anything (within reason).02 I know this is the Internet, but use common sense. Hateful and offensive questions will be ignored and possibly removed. It can be about MIT, or how our days have been, what we ate for breakfast, etc. We might not get to everybody, but we’ll try to answer as many questions as we can! However, we will deliberately not answer questions that (1) are along the lines of “What are my chances of getting into MIT?” (2) require an answer that touches on a controversial or very sensitive topic.
    2. Whether you’re a high schooler, MIT student, someone’s parent, or if you just randomly stumbled on this post, all are welcome.
    3. You’re able to comment anonymously, but use this power responsibly!
    4. You can address your question(s) to all of us, or to specific bloggers.
  3. After April 19 at 11:59 PM, we may answer a few questions here or there, but will do so less frequently. Up until then, we’ll be keeping our eyes on the comment section. Some of us might come and go, but there will be at least one blogger available to reply (except maybe when we’re sleeping).

Excited to see you all on Friday and Saturday!
