"Can you patch me through to the blimp?"
So I can’t take an ounce of credit for this artistic endeavor, but I will applaud it’s shear awesomeness.
So this weekend my friends Diana, Yonas, Chris, Tom, Christi, and other Bakerites made this huge sign to hang from Baker to celebrate the Red Sox.
We wanted news coverage, and we know that the blimp always flies over the Charles river so we tried calling our local Fox channel. I really wanted a live person to answer the phone so I could say, “Could you patch me through to the blimp?” Unfortunately, I had no such luck and ended up leaving a message on an answering machine.
Nevertheless, the Red Sox did end up winning 10 to 1 today against the Yankees thereby clenching the American League Wild Card spot.
