What if I’m waiting for my green card?

All applicants are requested to fill out the application with their current citizen status.

In our first-year admissions process, you’re considered an international applicant if you’re not a United States citizen or United States permanent resident (green card holder). Applicants awaiting green cards are considered to have non-U.S. citizen/non-U.S. permanent resident status.

If there’s a change in citizenship status during the application process you may send a copy of your green card via the application portal or email and your status will be updated immediately, right up until decisions are announced.
