What support is available for LBGTQ students?

MIT strives to create a safe and welcoming environment for LBGTQ students.

MIT and its surrounding communities offer a broad array of services, activities, and resources for lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, queer, questioning, and supportive individuals.

Student Blogger, Cory Hernandez ’14, wrote a guest blog, Think Pink 2011, about finding the right housing for LBGTQ underclassmen at MIT.

LBGTQ@MIT and G@MIT are positive, welcoming communities on campus willing to answer questions for current MIT students and interested MIT applicants, and MIT’s You are Welcome Here campaign has a great list of resources available to students as well.
