I've been looking at too many de-motivational posters!
The MIT Welcome Center (E38) will be closing at 2 PM on November 27. MIT and the admissions office will be closed November 28–29 for Thanksgiving break, and will open on December 2.
boo
OMG I love demotivators! I have three hanging in my room. I’m considering bringing them to MIT with me.
I feel like that should be my motto or something. “Paul’s Blog: Making you lose the game since 2007.”
(Incidentally, those are four of my favorite posts. :D)
Not that mitadmissions.org shouldn’t have the occasional frivolous blog entry, but isn’t this just plain ridiculous now?
Pointing out how The Game (which, incidentally, I am never playing nor planning on starting to play) is referenced in more entries than is probably welcome doesn’t compare to pointing out the hidden riddle in Building 56.
Honestly.
That was my former Facebook profile picture . . .
Not cool.
@Shay: You have no choice! Avoiding it is worse than losing.
I’m sorry, I can’t help it.
That is hilarious.
Paul and Snively are the best! Not to mention Ben, Matt, Jess, Lulu, Chris,Laura…
You win the internet Snively
I got lost during CPW in one of the hallways to leads off from the Infinite. There was an entire glass case of the Demotivational posters.
^
lol
10 char
how do you justify posting this on the admissions website?
AGH
I was winning for soooo long.
um… http://xkcd.com/391/?
My “Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up” poster is definitely coming to MIT with me. = )
@???
I justify it with entries like these:
Ben’s Entry
Lulu’s Entry
That, and I provide links to four other MIT Admissions posts. I think I’m in good shape.
hahaha
Anyone who had never lost in the game has just lost
That is one way of getting everyone to lose at the same time
Hey Snively
Just wanted to know are there any summer courses offered by MIT for senior level students who are planning to attend MIT the Next year ??
I didn’t get that at first because I thought it was probably made up.
Then I realized that you could get that in stores…

I don’t really get it….
@Noah: Project Interphase (http://web.mit.edu/ome/programs-services/interphase/index.html) is, as far as I know, the only summer offering we have for incoming freshmen. Not sure if that’s what you were looking for, though.
I just realized that I will keep losing the game every time I visit this site until this entry slides to the bottom of the page. More entries!
DAMMIT I just lost the game.
