What should I attend tonight?
Option 1: 4th Annual LATKE-HAMENTASHEN DEBATE
Today, 8:00 p.m. in Room 10-250
Don’t miss this exciting debate between the fruit-filled cookies known as Hamentashen and the fried potato pancake known as the Latke. Two teams of MIT experts will present their arguments in favor of their respective type of food. Hear the arguments of these esteemed MIT professors:
Hamentashen Team:
Alan Guth (Physics)
Daniel Kleitman (Mathematics)
Alexander Slocum (Mech Eng)
Latke team:
Diana Henderson (Literature)
Brian Robison (Music)
Robert Silbey (Chemistry & Dean of Science)
Moderator:
Walter Lewin (Physics)
Join us after the debate for a reception with hundreds of latkes and
hamentashen in Lobby 10.
Event sponsored by MIT Hillel and supported by MIT’s Peter de Florez
Fund for Humor, UA Finboard, and ARCADE.

Option 2: Tired of Ramen for dinner?
Wish you could do something to make your nightly pasta taste better?
Well, tomorrow is your lucky day! Julie Banda from Health Promotion and Wellness will be not only talking about how to eat better when you have to cook for yourself, but actually showing you how, too! Bronwyn, one of our wonderful Housemasters, has graciously offered
the use of her kitchen to allow Julie to make some dishes that are simple, inexpensive, and nutritious!
WHEN: 6 March, 8:00 PM (Monday night)
WHERE: Bronwyn’s kitchen! (Conner 1, suite 111)
WHY: Nutrition doesn’t have to be tedious or boring
Oh, if only all of life’s problems were this enjoyable.
Option 3: The Undergraduate Association (UA) Presidential/VPial (?) debates — Election 2006
latkes…definately. they’re the best things EVER!
Me? I’d go for the second option, since I’ve a) decided to embark upon a (sure to be short-lived) journey to be more healthy and b) started to worry about next year and my (110% unhealthy) college diet.
But you know..latkes sound reeeeally tempting! :D
I second Anonymous above. LATKES ROCK!
Latkes! It’s not everyday that profs debate about food!
option 1, just because nothing i make ever turns out good, so option 2 is out, and option 3 i know nothing about.

What did you choose?! Cliffhanger entry!
I chose Option 4: 6.002 lab.
