◀️ Well then, you’re in the right place! My name is Caleb, I’m a Senior majoring in 6-3 (Computer Science and Engineering) and 24-2 (Linguistics), and this is my second year as a blogger! I was raised in Dallas, Texas until finding myself on a flight up to Logan Airport and, ultimately, right here at MIT, and I live in Simmons Hall. Around campus, I’m involved in our radio station WMBR 88.1 FM, our Afro-Caribbean dance team Sakata Afrique, the Ethiopian and Eritrean Student Association, and the Center for Constructive Communication in the Media Lab!

◀️ Once again, you’re in just the right place! I’m here to give you a window right into my life as both an MIT student and just a still-young-ish guy who’s trying to figure the daily somewhere-around-everything out. I want to provide a direct view of what it’s like to live and grow and be here, student and person, learning and living.
▶️ I want to know what makes you you.
◀️ …rather personal, but sure. A lot of things make me who I am—my identity, my community, my upbringing, and so on. But, perhaps most pressingly, what makes me who I am are just three words that I try to live by every day that I’ve got: “Life is short.” So every day, every moment, I make the promise to myself that I won’t waste it.
