COVID-19

Learn more about how MIT Admissions is responding to COVID-19 in this blog post from our Dean and new dedicated FAQs.

Can I apply for transfer admission if I’m a first-year college student?

Yes, because you finished high school and will complete two terms of college by the time you enter MIT in the fall, you are eligible to apply as a transfer applicant. You’re not eligible to apply as a first-year student.
