Happy New Year! by Mikey Yang '05

And so two thousand nine begins...

Happy new year everyone! I’m hanging out at my sister and brother-in-law’s new house, enjoying the snow and festivities. (By the way, for those who always seem surprised when they find out, Michigan is on the EASTERN time zone! :) ) I’ve made my new year’s resolution to try and work out more this year – what’s your new year’s resolution?

Best wishes for a safe and happy new year!

It’s actually easier to take apart the individual pieces of the cube rather than dealing with the first-time-only stickiness of stickers.

That said, it only takes like 30 seconds to solve the rubik’s cube anyway. smile

@pornhub: Why? This is no place for SPAM.

@ALL: Happy New Year! 2009! Just 3 years away from 2012! Yay! The Pole Shift(s), Planetary Alignment, and 26,000 complete Earth wobbles! Can’t wait! wink

I’m from Michigan and I always find it funny when people are surprised about the time zone too. And when people get surprised/jealous that I use my hand to point out exactly where I’m from.

Anyways, resolutions: (1) to hopefully get into MIT (2) to not stress as much, considering it’s my last year of high school and parental supervision and (3) To eat less peanut butter

  20. Happy New Year everyone!!!

    Resolution:
    •Getting into MIT
    •Restore my sport habits

My new years resolution: put the people around me first.

@Gina – haha yeah, I love being able to use my hand to show where I’m from! People actually laugh at me when I try to use my hand for other states. For example, when I try to point out where in Florida or Texas or Massachusetts I’ve traveled to (although Florida is pretty easy, Texas is a much harder shape to form with your hand…).

@Abdel-karim – sounds like fun! That must’ve been a big weight off your shoulders to be able to submit the app and then go party! smile
