MIT-Now in Español! by Beatriz Valdez

Hola!

I’m delighted to introduce the newest page to the MIT Admissions website- MIT Admissions en Español! After brainstorming content ideas for the page and working with the communications team on an Español video, featuring members of the Spanish-speaking community at MIT, we are excited to now launch the MIT Admissions page en Español.

On this page, we have translated the history and mission of MIT so students can help their Spanish-speaking parents and grandparents gain an understanding about MIT.

And we want everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the friendly and welcoming community found at MIT. In the video we feature Spanish-speaking faculty, staff, and students describing our collaborative environment, and the research opportunities available to MIT students. Also, at the bottom of the page we have included blogs from students and staff at MIT. Go ahead and read through them, feel free to share them with your parents, and post your questions!

It is our hope that students will use this page as a resource and share it with their families; whether for the college application process or to just find out more about MIT and what makes it such a great place.
~Hasta luego!
