I started a joke… by Sam M. '07

...that started the whole world crying.

Actually, I didn’t start this joke.

It was started by my 8th grade math teacher, Mr. Bob Cohen, who had a strange fondness for referring to mathematical concepts as “puppies.”

“Alright, so then we factor this puppy and find the roots.”
“So, similarilarily, we have to complete the square of this puppy by adding 25 to both sides.”
“Let’s do a rigorous proof of the law of sines! This is gonna be a tough puppy, but I think you guys can handle it. Let me know if I snow anybody.”

So, imagine our delight when we walked in to find this on the chalkboard:
