Can I apply if I already have a degree?
MIT doesn’t award second bachelor’s degrees, regardless of the course of study. We encourage you to apply to MIT as a graduate student. -
FAQ / First-year application
Do I have to submit my final grades?
Most students apply to college at the beginning of their last year of high school, so final grades aren't available. Only admitted students are required to submit their final grades. -
FAQ / Transfer
Can transfer applicants submit supplemental materials?
There is no expectation for you to submit additional documents beyond the required application. For transfer applicants, we accept a maximum of two additional supplemental letters of recommendation from teachers -
