紐約與我
時間過的真快,一轉眼近三年已經過去了。 想起曾在麻省理工的我,當時對未來並沒有特別大的夢想 — 把書讀好,把實驗做好,把報告交進去,申請醫學院,選一間去讀。當時申請時有一段時間因為哈佛醫學選我去面試而讓我興奮了很久。終究當然沒有被錄取,可是現在往回想也不禁覺得其實也是一種隱藏的福氣。我對學術醫學並不是那麼有興趣,並且留在波士頓讀醫學院就代表我無法體驗一個全新不同的城市。哈佛可有可無,所以申請最後我很理所當然地選紐約市的西奈山醫學院就讀。 很多人不知道西奈山醫院是什麼 — 美國的醫學院有一些是醫院創立的,而沒有和大學聯合 — 著名的馬約診所與克利夫蘭診所都有附屬的醫學院。紐約的西奈山醫學院是一九六三年才創立的,可是醫院一八五二年就成立了,爲美國最古老的醫院之一。醫學院與醫院共享設施,在紐約曼哈頓的東上城一百街的附近。 託在紐約讀書的福,讓我在這兩年多深深的體驗紐約這顆大蘋果的美麗。 GOT RAMEN: 不要懷疑,這些都是紐約的拉麵!別跟我提其他紐約的食物 — 我講也講不完 :) 最後,我選擇這個圖片故事作為結尾: 1. 這是紐約甘迺迪機場的公共藝術。我非常喜歡這個雕藝,因為我覺得它代表的紐約的多元,紐約的活力,與紐約的活潑。對我來說,這是最恰當的比喻。 2. 今年我和我的女朋友參加紐約的萬聖節遊行。當天晚上真是非常的難忘,路上好幾萬的紐約客盛裝打扮,愉悅飲酒,好不快樂。最近我讀了海明威 “A Moveable Feast” 的一些節錄 — 我覺得他的巴黎和我的紐約應該有許多異曲同工之處吧。 3. 我發現其實我今年在醫院工作了近一年(三年級我們在醫院實習)都沒有照什麼相片。可是我倒是照了這一張。有一天晚上近七點時,我們搞了一天的事務,都非常的累。突然,搬運工送來了一檯”智慧白板“ (Smart… -
